Week 5 - Reflective blog post

In week 5 of media studies. I learned about different themes that are used in BSR's such as corruption of youth, drug use, violence, rape and both child and adulthood. These themes will help me when deciding for some more ideas on what I could use to create my own opening sequence. As all of these themes are used often and thus I can look at these movies and gain more ideas. Also, I compared themes between BSR and Hollywood so that I know the difference of things that are used in BSR and in Hollywood movies so that I do not confuse myself and accidentally use something that would be more conventional in a Hollywood movie and not in a BSR. So, this exercise and task had helped me a lot to figure out differences between Hollywood and BSR which will help me in the future. On another blog i have already done a comparison between some films that are a BSR and hollywood and I'm analysing the differences between the two.
